Dusty and dirty front suspension
Ready to go to the media blaster and powder coater
Originally the suspension components were more of a "satin-black". Per our client's request we went for a high gloss for ease of cleaning.
Floor pan after metal repairs
The original color here is called "sandalwood".
Again, note the sealer over the seams.
We applied a "chip guard" to the wheel wells to give pebbles something to bounce off of....
...then applied the body color.
When the factory applied the body color to the wells they did not mask off the undercarriage, so we were "careful" to overspray it a bit.
The fuel tank was boiled out, lined and powder coated before going back in.
The rear brake drums are aluminum.
Inside
This shot is from inside the engine bay. The factory's sprayed on seam sealer had gone away over the years so we reapplied same.
